I had suggested to Hiro that we cook for a meal for her family to show a little appreciation for the very generous hospitality they showed me. Hiro and I split the cooking duties. Here we have a pineapple, arugula, and shrimp salad that I whipped up. I made the dressing out of mayonaisse, some cayan pepper, and a bit of sugar. It was pretty good for and ad hoc effort. Hiro’s niece Hanna is looking pensive in the background.
